ABOUT OUR GALAXY
Our company provides virtual, Face to Face and Hybrid, 1:1 Reading & English Language Arts tutoring to PreK-7th grade students. We prioritize making learning fun and enjoyable, while centering sessions around each student's learning style. After a consultation & a diagnostic assessment, individualized tutoring plans are created to ensure that we are strengthening the needed academic areas of each student. We also provide digital resources for educators and homeschooling parents.
ASTRONAUT'S PLAN
Each astronaut will follow a strategic learning plan to become a Rocket Reader.
1. Assessment
Every astronaut will be assessed during their first tutoring session. The assessment will allow us to see exactly where your astronaut is, and meet them where they are.
2. Individualized Tutoring Plan
Once the assessment is complete, we will prepare a individualized tutoring plan for your astronaut. All tutoring plans are based solely on your astronaut's academic level and needs.
3. Monthly Progress Monitoring
Monthly your Rocket Reader's data will be tracked, to ensure your academic reader is making progress. Data is a great way to measure growth.
Ms. Kia | Our Founder
Ms. Kia begin her career in education tutoring in her community & working in Early Childhood Development centers throughout high school. Her passion for education led her to pursue a degree in Communication Studies & Early Childhood Development from Texas State University and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University Texas. Her teaching career led her to teach English Language Arts for 4th, 5th and 6th grade. She has also served as a Reading Interventionist for grades K-8th. She currently is a Literacy Specialist designing and implementing Reading and English Language Arts curriculum for PreK-7th grade.
